Columba Award Trophy Ceremony

The Columba Awards Trophy is an annual awards ceremony for schools in the Midlands that recognises excellence in secondary school drama productions. In the previous two years we have been awarded with second and third places and we achieved more successes with our production of ‘The Witches’ this year.

The cast of ‘The Witches’ and drama teacher, Mr Pullen, were invited to attend the Columba Awards Ceremony on Friday 22nd September at Birmingham’s Council Chamber. The cast was presented with a certificate of commendation for their performance by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Anne Underwood. Congratulations also goes to Nafeesah Zahid, who played the Grand High Witch in the production, and received a Judges Commendation for Outstanding Performance.
