Our Catering Manager wins Coombs Employee of the month!
This term so many of us have faced challenges with the changes we have had to implement to keep us all safe. Our catering team is no exception. They now offer a 2 hour service and provide the sanitisation of the tables and areas to ensure they are hygienically clean for each of our four sittings. They have modified the food offering with more packaging so it can be as safe as possible. The company also introduced the free school meal hampers for those students self-isolating, which means one trip a week to collect a hamper containing five days’ worth of ingredients for lunch, along with recipe cards for those who may want them. And they have done all of this whilst smiling wearing masks and visors in a hot kitchen environment!
So it was wonderful to hear that Aaron Jagger, our Catering Manager, has been awarded the Coombs Employee of the Month Award, recognising the particular efforts he has made. Craig Coombs, Managing Director, attended site to surprise Aaron with the award, and said “the competition for this was very high and Aaron was a worthy winner” and he “was grateful for the amazing work Aaron and his team were doing at Moseley”.
It’s fabulous that Aaron and the work his team have done supporting him has been recognised and we are very proud of the team working so hard to ensure that students and staff have healthy food to enjoy at School each day.
