Dear Parent / Carer,
A letter has been sent home with your child regarding the loan of a school laptop.
Device Loan Agreement
Moseley School and Sixth Form will be running a device loan scheme to support students who are unable to access online independent study at home. We will be loaning a small number of laptops and 4G routers to the students who are most in need of these to ensure they can achieve in their learning journey. Initially this will be one per household.
We have identified your child as someone who would benefit from this scheme and we are in a position now to issue a Laptop and should you require it a 4G router to them.
The laptops and 4G routers are the property of Moseley School and Sixth Form, and therefore must only be used to complete independent learning by the child it has been loaned to. The device must be kept in good condition with minimal wear and tear and students will be required to bring the devices into school for software updates and auditing purposes regularly. Devices that are damaged or lost may require you to refund the school for the devices.
Our IT department will also have the ability to remotely access the device, so if your child is experiencing any problems please just let us know by emailing our IT Helpdesk at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please complete and sign the consent section of the Parent Agreement, you will be required to bring this to the collection on Wednesday 15th December 2021 or Thursday 16th December 2021. The collection will run 2:30pm to 3:45pm from the Sports Centre, Gate D. The device will only be released to a parent or carer. If you are unable to make this date please email email@example.com.
We hope that this initiative will support with independent study, and if you have any queries please do get in touch with the school.
