14th June 2021
In light of COVID-19 restrictions being lifted, your child has been invited to take part in an educational visit to Drayton Manor on Monday 21st June 2021. This is an opportunity to celebrate the successful completion of their time at Moseley Sixth form as well as rewarding them for their hard work and resilience throughout the last two challenging years.
Students who are attending will need to ensure that they undertake a Covid home test 48 hours before the trip and they will need to log their results on the government website and on Teams. Students who do not complete a test will not be able to attend. Free home testing kits are available to order or pick up from test centres/pharmacies or alternatively they can be collected from the school reception.
We will leave Moseley School at 9.30am and return at approximately at 17.30pm, you should make arrangements to collect your child, unless you are happy for them to make their own way home. We will be travelling by coach, the member of staff in charge of the visit is Mr Boyle. Your child should wear comfortable clothing and all students will need to ensure that they are wearing mask coverings for the day, in order to meet the theme park’s COVID-19 guidelines.
The cost of the visit is £17.00 (this amount should be paid via ParentPay) which includes transport and entrance to the park. Please ensure that your child either has a packed lunch with them or has money to purchase food from one of the theme parks many onsite food providers.
