Free School Meals

We have been working hard to ensure free school meal provision is in place for those students that are entitled to it.  The national free school meal voucher scheme will return on 25th January and run initially until February half term. You will be sent these vouchers in due course, you will receive one £45 voucher  (£15 per week).

HOW THE NATIONAL FREE SCHOOL MEAL VOUCHER SCHEME WORKS

Moseley School and Sixth Form will be sending eCodes via text message. We will text parents once these have been sent. You should order your supermarket eGift at home before going to the store. To select your supermarket eGift card, follow the steps below:

  1. Copy eCode from your text message
  2. Go to  https://www.selectyourcompliment.co.uk/dfe
  3. Enter the 16 digit eCode (you can enter more than one eCode if you have more than one to redeem)
  4. Select a supermarket
  5. Enter the amount and add to basket
  6. Checkout and enter the email address you would like the eGift card sent to
  7. Your eGift card will be processed and sent (please allow up to 24 hours for it to be delivered to your inbox).

Issues with accessing your code:

If you’re having issues accessing your code, or have not received a code please see the information below to help

Q. I have not received a FSM ECode Text.

The National FSM scheme uses a company called Edenred. Codes have been sent via text message. If you have not received a code by Tuesday please contact us here and we will action a resend.

Q. The ECode in the Text doesn’t work.

We have found that the best method to use the ECode is to copy and paste it from the text. Please make sure you are not copying any spaces or extra characters. Ecodes should be 16 digits. ECodes should be redeemed on this site https://www.selectyourcompliment.co.uk/dfe Unfortunately the school does not have access to the individual codes to do any form of checking.

Q. I have redeemed my Ecode for a supermarket voucher but haven’t received a gift card via email.

Unfortunately once the Ecode has been redeemed the Ecode gets removed off our system therefore we cannot do any further follow-up on this. We suggest that you firstly check your junk folder as sometimes emails can be directed there. We have had reports that Due to the demand on the system some emails are taking longer than normal to process. If you have not received a gift card after a week we suggest that you contact the customer service team at Edenred and the supermarket. We apologise that we cannot be of any further assistance.

Q. I have received one Ecode for one child but not for the other.

The National FSM scheme uses a company called Edenred. Codes have been sent via text message. If you have not received a code by Thursday please contact us here and we will action a resend.
