The NSPCC encouraged schools across the UK to take part in their Number Day‚ on Friday 7th February, 2020. Number Day is a maths-inspired fundraising day for schools to have fun with numbers and raise money for a great cause.
At Moseley School and Sixth Form Number Day was full of fun activities including Teacher Number Hunt, ‘Who wants to be a Mathionnaire’ during all maths lessons, Cake sale, Samosa sale, sweet cones sale students memorising digits of pi and Non Uniform Day! There were hampers to be won as well as a Cake raffle. Both students and staff were able to take part in guessing how many sweets there were in a jar.
We are proud to announce that Moseley School and Sixth Form managed to raise a whooping £1989.58 for NSPCC Number Day which broke our School Record!
Thank you to everyone who took part and the sponsors that were collected from your family and friend.
