Police Cadets

At Moseley School and Sixth Form we are proud to be selected a host venue for WMP cadets . We have a large cohort of  pupils fully engaged in this enrichment opportunity .

The aims of the volunteer cadets are as follows;

  • To promote a Practical Understanding of Policing amongst all Young People
  • To encourage a spirit of adventure and good citizenship.
  • To support Policing priorities through volunteering and give young people a chance to be heard.
  • To Inspire young people to participate in communities.

Mosley School and Sixth Form police cadets are passionate about community engagement. We have already assisted at foodbanks,  gardening for those who are unable to do so themselves, litter picking and other local  initiatives. We have projects pending with trading standards and  local charities such as Maria Curie cancer care and we aim to play a prominent role as volunteers role in the Commonwealth games in 2022.

If you have a spirit of adventure, and are open to new ideas please consider volunteering  as a cadet leader or applying to become a cadet. Please contact Mr Phillpotts at Moseley School and Sixth Form or Sam Booth at West Midland Police, emails below;
