Right of the Month
Every Month Moseley School and Sixth Form focus on a “Right of the month”.
September
For September, our right of the month acknowledges that every child around the World has a “right to an education” (Artice 28).
During the month of September, our school community reflect on education as a fundamental human right for every child. Students consider how the right to education plays an important role in reducing poverty and child labour. It is also an opportunity for students to empathise with the reality that there are still millions of children that have this right violated every single day. As a school we have promoted the right to education of others locally and globally. On World Children’s Day we raised an outstanding £713.05 for Unicef UK, to provide life saving food, clean water and school supplies for Syrian children.
