School Meals

Canteen and food selection

Moseley’s catering is provided by Coombs Catering Partnership and is served in our spacious school dining area. Food is offered every day during lunch break, and children are also welcome to bring their own packed lunches too. We serve sandwiches, wraps, fruit, pasta and a choice of hot dishes, freshly made onsite each day.

Food Payment

Our canteen does not use cash. Instead, we have introduced ParentPay to maximise the safety of our staff and students. You can pay into the ParentPay account by debit/ credit card.

Please allow between £2.50 and £3.00 a day for lunch. (Please see below menu’s for prices).

The school will not be handling cash.

All meat served to students is halal. Fish and vegetarian options are also available to buy, and students may bring food from home to eat in the canteen. Students must always clear their own plates, cutlery and litter in the canteen. All food and drink purchased in school must be eaten in the canteen.

We do not allow sugary, fizzy drinks or energy drinks on the school site. Studies show they can reduce children’s ability to concentrate, damage their teeth and contribute to childhood obesity and other health problems. Healthy alternatives are available to buy in our canteen. Energy drinks will be confiscated and disposed of. Crisps and gum are also banned from the school site. If you’re having issues setting up Parent Pay please read more information here: Parent Pay

Breakfast Hub

Start the day the right way!

We are delighted to offer a FREE Breakfast provision in school for our children.

The breakfast, that is provided by the National School Breakfast Programme runs from 8:00am – 8.25am each morning in the school café.

The National School Breakfast Programme is funded by the Department for Education and run by Family Action to support schools in England to provide children with a healthy breakfast at the start of the school day.

Family Action is committed to supporting child development, and believe a healthy school breakfast, without barrier or stigma, can set up children to succeed and give them the very best chance to learn.

In a normal school year, schools are open just over half the year (taking into account weekends and school holidays). This means even where breakfast is available within school, children are still having breakfast at home almost 50% of the time.

Please follow the link below for tips, ideas, information, recipes, videos and quizzes to make breakfast time an easy part of your morning routine at home.
