Dear Parents and Carers,
We will be holding immunisation clinics for all year 9 students on Monday 14th June and Thursday 24th June 2021. This is to ensure completion of the HPV, cancer prevention immunisation, and for all students to receive their School Leaver immunisation update. The School Leaver immunisation is given to boost protection against three separate diseases: tetanus, diphtheria and polio.
Students will be taken in class groups to the sports hall and girls will be separated from boys during this.
Your child must bring a completed consent form; to receive these important immunisations consent is required from either the parent or the student. The nurses will lead the student through the process to make sure they fully understand this before immunisation. If you have already completed the consent form for the HPV immunisation you will automatically receive the second part.
Students have been given the consent forms today in form time, however if you have not received these please download and print from the link at the bottom of this page, or ask your child to collect these from Mrs Thomas in the year 9 office.
